Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of casacode.com, operated by CasaCode LLC ("CasaCode," "we," "us"), a Massachusetts limited liability company.
What these terms cover — and what they are not
These terms cover this website and the material we publish on it, and our SMS assistant in the section below.
They are not an agreement to provide services. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a price, a quote, or a commitment to deliver anything, and nothing you do here creates an account or a subscription. If CasaCode does work for you, that work is governed by a signed Master Services Agreement and a statement of work, which control over this page in every respect.
Using the site
Read it, quote it, share it, send it to a colleague. Please do not try to break it, interfere with it, or access parts of it that are not public. Do not use it to send unsolicited messages.
What we publish here
The workflow map is ours, and it is published as a draft to be corrected. It is drawn from one market and we expect parts of it to be wrong — that is the point of publishing it. You are welcome to read it, use it inside your own organization, and tell us where it is wrong. Please do not republish it as your own work.
Our open-source releases carry their own licences. The file-system organizer and anything else we publish in a public code repository are governed by the licence in that repository, not by this page.
Trademarks and brand names on this site belong to whoever owns them.
What you send us
Nothing you send us through this site becomes ours.
If you describe how your work runs — when you book a time, by email, or in a conversation — we handle it as our privacy policy describes: we reply, we prepare for the conversation, and the general shape of what we learn improves the map we publish. We do not reuse your confidential information, your data, your specific workflows or your bespoke logic, and we do not name you or your employer publicly without your written permission.
If you suggest a change to something we publish, we may act on the suggestion without owing you anything for it.
No advice, and no warranty
What is on this site is informational. It describes a thesis and work in progress — not a product you can buy today — and it is not financial, legal, engineering or operational advice. Decisions about your own operations remain yours.
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CasaCode will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of this website.
SMS / Text Messaging
CasaCode runs a small internal SMS assistant for its own household and business admin. It is not offered through this website and you cannot sign up for it here; a number is added by the account owner. How we handle the data is in our privacy policy. The terms below were reviewed for our A2P 10DLC campaign registration and are carried unchanged.
The Service. The CasaCode assistant service is an internal SMS-based tool that responds to member commands (such as managing a shared list or schedule) and sends periodic service notifications (such as expense-confirmation digests).
Eligibility and Opt-In. The service is available only to CasaCode members. Members opt in by verbal request to the account owner, who adds their phone number to the service's allowlist. Numbers not on the allowlist cannot receive messages from or interact with the service.
Messaging. By opting in, you agree to receive automated replies to your commands and periodic service notifications, typically 1-5 messages per day per recipient. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting Out and Support. Text STOP at any time to stop receiving all messages; you may be re-added later on request. Text HELP for a command reference, or contact tickets@casacode.com for support.
Acceptable Use. The service is provided for internal CasaCode use only and may not be resold or used to send unsolicited messages.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
